good friday

every day

Who do I condemn?
Who do I crucify?
What in me still rushes to judgement?
What in me would rather condemn than understand?
We are called here to love, not judge
Good Friday isn’t only suffering.
It is the pause—
the hand unclenched
the mind unclenched
the stone set down,
the sentence left unfinished.
take a breath to perceive
the pain beneath
It is the moment
you refuse to add to the weight of the world.
It’s about the moment you work to relieve it.
